After crossing the bridge at Eype (478), hike up the stairs to the paved road. Continue up the hill to the fence at (479).

After you cross the bridge at Seatown (484), walk up the road to the trail head at (485). This minor trail diversion is necessary due to frequent land slipping on this section of the coast.
To the north of Seatown is Chideock village. There is at least one pub and several bed and breakfasts in Chideock. For more information about chideock visit www.chideock.org
Our route continues to Golden Cap at (491). Golden Cap is the highest point on the south coast of England, at about 600 feet. |
