The Deer Hill Trail is an easy trail with little elevation gain that leads through a forest and open meadows within the Coconino National Forest. The trail is frequently used by horseback riders as well as bicyclists and hikers. During 2010 the trail was severely damaged by the Schultz wildfire and flooding from extreme monsoon weather which followed; trail crews started restoration work in July 2016.
