Standing alone on the top of a hill is the Wukoki Pueblo; this ruin is one of the best preserved of the five Puebloan dwellings that are open to the public within the Wupatki National Monument. Standing three stories tall and 20ft high, this spectacular building was once home to several Ancient Sinagua Indian families. The Wukoki Trail is an easy short, uneven trail that leads to the magnificent dwelling that is visible from a distance of several miles. All Puebloan dwellings are protected by Federal law, please do not remove or disturb any artifacts.
