The Old Mines Trail, located within Buckskin Mountain Arizona State Park, has a small group of connector trails that join for an extended hike. To access the Old Mines Trail, hike the Buckskin Trail across the pedestrian bridge, to a shared trailhead that splits to the Interruption Point Trail. Follow the Interruption Point Trail to the Old Mines Trailhead. At the end of the Old Mines Trail is the "Bucky's No. 3 Mine" with a shaft depth of 25 feet. Copper was the main ore that was mined here.
