The Deep Ravine Trail offers a self guided tour with booklets to borrow or purchase at the trailhead. The beginning of the trail is approximately 400 feet south of Last Stand Hill, the location of Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer's Last Stand on June 25, 1876. Red and white markers scattered over the landscape aid visitors and researchers in reconstructing the historic battle, known the world over as the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
